ABOUT

"A picture is worth 1,000 words, and a story told appropriately is
priceless."
Jim Sinegal, CEO and Co-founder
Costco Wholesale
To her parents' astonishment and great relief, Evelyn finally spoke her first words at age two. She had waited until she could craft a meaningful, well-structured sentence, and she's been word-smithing ever since.
Evelyn's father suggested a career as a news writer after he read
her 8th grade essay, "Cautious Clara," which described her mother's dangerously careful driving habits. Captivated by images of reporters dashing off one front-page story to another, Evelyn happily followed a straight line from high school newspaper editor to a Communications degree and a stint as broadcast editor for the Associated Press. She then moved to the other side of the desk, pitching corporate stories to the media, preparing clients for interviews and earning accreditation as a public relations counselor from the Public Relations Society of America.
By 1993 she was ready for a new challenge. Her coach recommended
that she reframe her credentials by branding herself as The Corporate
Storyteller, and that got her creative juices flowing again. Evelyn created
the Corporate Storytelling seminar program and then developed a corporate-wide
storytelling system. She has since delivered management
communications services for all types and sizes of organizations, including
Microsoft, NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, World Vision, the International
Storytelling Center, and Shell International.
Whether you lead a corporation, a governmental agency or a non-profit
organization,
Evelyn Clark's services will be customized to address your needs.
